Privacy Policy

This policy describes what personal information OccasionPost handles, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Effective date: September 5, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how OccasionPost collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our websites, applications, campaign tools, and related services (the "Service"). It does not govern third-party services that have their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information generated through use of the Service, and limited information from connected services.

  • Account and workspace data: name, email address, authentication details, organization, role, and preferences.
  • Brand and campaign data: brand guidelines, audience details, prompts, uploads, generated content, approvals, schedules, and publishing history.
  • Billing data: plan, transaction status, and billing contact details. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider.
  • Usage and device data: log records, browser and device information, IP address, feature activity, diagnostics, and security events.
  • Connected service data: social account identifiers, permissions, tokens, and performance metrics you authorize a platform to share.
  • Communications: support requests, feedback, and other messages you send us.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, personalize, maintain, and secure the Service.
  • Generate content, rank occasions, process approvals, and carry out publishing instructions.
  • Authenticate users, administer subscriptions, and account for usage and credits.
  • Provide support and communicate service, security, and policy updates.
  • Monitor reliability, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms.
  • Analyze and improve Service performance and features.
  • Comply with law and protect our rights and those of others.

4. AI and identity data

Prompts and relevant campaign inputs may be sent to AI providers to generate requested output. OccasionPost does not use customer content to train our own general-purpose AI models. Provider handling is governed by our contracts and the provider terms applicable to the Service.

Images or video featuring an identifiable person are treated as sensitive content. You must have appropriate permission to upload and transform them. We use this material to provide requested creative features, not for biometric identification, face search, or protected-trait inference.

5. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that support hosting, storage, AI generation, analytics, email, billing, security, and customer support.
  • Social platforms and other integrations when you direct us to connect or publish.
  • Your workspace administrators and authorized team members.
  • Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
  • A successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information for money.

6. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain legitimate business and security records, comply with law, and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by data type and account status. Deletion requests may enter a limited recovery period before permanent deletion, and some records may remain in backups or be retained where legally required.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information, or withdraw consent. You may manage many settings in your account or submit a request through our contact page.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also have the right to appeal our response or complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, tenant separation, encrypted transport, private asset storage, and audit records. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

We and our providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers and take steps designed to ensure an appropriate level of protection.

10. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Service.

11. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required.
